(aka Bindi)
October, 2011
A quick Bindi update:   I took Bindi to the Boise, ID show because we just needed some extra dogs there to make a major. I picked her because I had only showed her a couple times when she was younger, but she really didn't like the ring and I stopped.  Anyhow, I wanted to see what judges thought of her.  She showed three days with one of them getting a 4 point major and the other day taking reserve!  I have her picture to prove it to her and her eyes are definitely yelling "What the heck am I doing HERE and on a table?  Other than IN the ring, she loved the rest of it.  She got lots of loves from many BMD admirers and lots of compliments from many others.  She liked that part:)
Yeah Bindi!  Her first points were a Major!

Thank you to Judges Ruth Nielson, Peggy Granger and the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Seattle for recognizing Bindi and I as a drafting team:)!
We had allot of fun and hope to come back and draft with you all again some day.

I do wish I could get this girl out more!  Once again...this was her first attempt at the test, and she aced it:)!  She has a wonderful drive and work ethic.  If I took her to more competitions I do believe she could have an enormous string of titles behind her or even in front of her:)!  But, for the last few years, our focus has been home.  I am not sure I could ever ask for a more devoted or versatile dog.  Bindi...I pray for many, many more years with you!

Bindi finished her
Companion Dog title
through AKC in October, 2010.

You are required to get 3 legs under at least 2 different judges before you are awarded your title.  She got her title in 3 tries/3 legs, and got two first places and 1
2nd place.

To say the least...I am VERY proud of my girl:).

We are hearing similar reports about her children:  Highly motivated to work, but sweet as can be:).
Bindi achieved her Rally Excellent title in Boise, ID

We finally had a sunny day in which we could all get out of the house.  What better way to enjoy it than to go for a long walk with the kids!
This was Bindi's first carting experience and that she did 3 miles!

Bindi just earned her Rally Advanced title at the Rose City Classic in one long weekend. We will post her picture as soon as it arrives! What a cool dog she is and what fun she is to work with! She also had all of her clearances done while she was there.; VWD clear, Heart clear, CERF clear, and hips look excellent, and elbows clear. We have not heard back on the Thyroid testing yet, but should within the next few weeks. We will post all of her clearances when the certificates arrive. Wow have we been blessed!
Bindi is now 19 mo. old, and 90 lbs holding. She has earned her Rally Advanced title and is working towards her next levels. What a blast she still is.

Bindi is broader and taller than her sister Addie, so we are guessing that she will out weigh her at age 2 yrs...but time will tell. Right now we are just enjoying each stage as Bindi has been allot of fun.
1 yr old, 87 lbs!

Well, we fell behind in pictures of Bindi. Sorry.

Here are a few that show her loving personality though. She is now 10.5 mo. old

My nephew has come to stay for the winter to help with dogs and horses while I recover from a sledding accident. Bindi seems to have formed a true affection for him! Amazing how far a little love goes!

Trying to get a picture of Bind holding still is becoming a challenge, but she just happened to pause in her snow play and although it was from a distance (thus a little blurry), we caught a glimpse of her developing conformation... Way to go Bindi!

Bindi has taken it as a personal assignment to clean up after the kids leave the table!

Yep...her butt is just about higher than her head! But no worries...all things level out with time! Bindi got to go to a fun puppy match at the Boise show in October. She placed third in group (that means she competed with other pups from the working group, but of other breeds.) We were pretty jazzed and I even think Bindi was too!

Bindi is getting big and is such a happy puppy. She is still working on coming when something exciting is elsewhere, but she is getting it. She certainly thinks she is top dog around here, but other than Zea, they all keep her pretty much in her place. Zea is such a push over for her, that he needs a lesson in setting boundries! She loves the kids here and will let them walk her on a lead with out pulling them over...but then again we haven't tempted her with to many distractions either. he is really fun.
