What can we say....Coda has been special all along and now others get to see that too!  She has left her goofy puppy days behind now and has become a very well behaved, gentle lady.  She still has lots of spunk, but simply seems dignified now.  The above picture was her most recent win at the Rose City Classic, Portland, OR January 2012.
Below are some home birthday photo's and thank you to Amanda in Vermont for her surprise BD gifts that came in the mail!

Coda has made her debut into the show ring.  She went to Helena, MT, Richland, WA, and Boise, ID this Fall (2011)

She showed well and enjoyed every minute being there.  I believe she thought the whole thing was put on for her solely!  In Montana she picked up a "Best of Winners" ribbon, a "Reserve Winner's Bitch" ribbon, and a "Best Bred by Exhibitor in Show!" ribbon.
In Idaho she took her first Major with "Best Opposite Sex", a "Reserve Winner's Bitch, and lots of love:).

She did not take any points in the WA show, but every day she has shown (in all three shows) she has won her "Bred By" class.  This is not too bad for a girl that isn't even 2 years old yet
Congrats baby girl!

I was disappointed in the pictures as her back legs should have been stretched out a little more.  I am NOT the best handler, but might bet there someday:).  When someone else handles her, you can see she has a level top line and good angulation.

A whopping 70 degrees and she thinks she is melting.

What can one get for a 3 mo. birthday surprise?  Two large mounds of mulch!  Easy on the joints, full of imaginative ways to play:)

Cool, dad makes neat noises..

What is it?

Something is just not right!

Okay, this looks like a retriever tail, but she just can't help being happy!
1 Year old:
94 lbs, sweet as can be, and looking pretty good:).  Remember there is still allot of development happening.

once again...that tail straight out!  I try to get her to drop the tail, but it is in constant "wagging" motion.  She just came into her 2nd heat cycle so has lost most of her coat, but it is beginning to come back in.  She is beginning to loose that "high" rear and level out better now too.  Her chest is deepening and I am hoping for better bend of stifle when she finishes maturing.  We will see:), but for now, I am thrilled with her.

Coda is another of the gentle spirits here.  She is full of puppy life still, but very gentle.  She is maturing nicely, but we look forward to the day we see her fully there:)!
